Self-taught Congolese artist Vancy Lusadisu’s sculptures and paintings combine themes of industrialization, robotics, and modern technology while highlighting everyday life and humanity.  Originally trained in mechanics, Vancy began by creating electric cars before pursuing a career as an artist. Transportation and technology are frequent subjects in both his paintings and sculptures.  Often whimsical and futuristic, his works are also infused with local culture and vibrant colors.
