Dossou is member of a new generation of Congolese contemporary artists for whom innovation plays a key role. His works are characterized by a delicate, refined realism. His subjects frequently focus on analyzing current issues impacting his native Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). The artist considers the environment as an effective medium for transmitting his message to the world.
