Claude Bosana

Claude Bosana is a Congolese painter known in particular for his portraits, including of fictional characters,  historical figures, and privately commissioned portraits.  A graduate of the Académie des Beaux-Arts in Kinshasa (DRC), Bosana had not initially planned to become an artist.  However, his early interest in drawing, including reproductions of cinematography posters led him to pursue more formal artistic training and a career as a painter and graphic designer.  In 2007 he created his workshop called “ART DU BEAU” and a training center in graphic and visual arts in Kinshasa where he has trained many young artistic talents.
