Bienvenu NANGA is a Congolese sculptor known for creating works from materials he finds in the streets of his hometown Kinshasa (DRC) which he then recycles.  Nanga’s works are inspired by science fiction and the future.   His works, including miniature and large robots and futuristic scenes of life and technology, are positive and joyful.  While using futuristic subjects, his works are also deeply rooted in Congolese life and culture and the current challenge of society.   He has exhibited throughout Africa and in Europe.
