ARTICLE 15… DÉBROUILLEZ-VOUS!

Gallery Article 15 derives its name from the well-known idiom in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), “Article quinze…débrouillez-vous.”  Referencing a fictional Article 15 of the DRC’s constitution, it is a catch-all expression meaning “you’re on your own, do what you need to do.”  The phrase can often be found in the DRC’s rich music and art scenes.
